Crane

We offer a combination of lengths, from 5 feet to 18 feet. The camera is operated remotely and can be programmed using a motorized pan/tilt head which holds up to 35-lb (16 Kg.) cameras. Crane shots have been used in Hollywood films for decades. The effect is a very expensive and cinematic shot where a camera ‘flies’ by mounting it at the end of the crane, usually to create an emotional or suspenseful scene.

Steadicam

Our Steadicam can hold up to 28-lb (13 Kg.) cameras, from HDSLR cameras to the Panasonic HVX200 and even the Red Epic or Scarlet A Steadicam is a piece of gear that is used in high-end film or TV productions. The camera is physically mounted on the operator (think bulletproof vest with really tough straps), with its own arm. The Steadicam adds another dimension to cinematography by stabilizing footage that would normally be very shaky with a hand held camera.

Dollies

We have a 22-ft dolly and a 6-ft slider. The 22-ft dolly can be configured in different sizes, ranging from 4-ft to 22ft. Both are motorized and programmable. On them, we have the ability to mount a motorized/programmable pan/tilt head which holds up to 45-lb cameras (20 Kg). A camera dolly is a specialized piece of filmmaking and television production equipment designed to create extraordinary smooth camera movements.

CINEMATOGRAPHY

In the present, we shoot most of our projects with Canon HDSLR cameras. We have shot on Red cameras, Super 16mm, Panasonic HVX 200, Sony EX1 and EX3. All these cameras allow us to obtain very high looking cinematic Hollywood-like images. In many cases, all this can be offered at a fraction of the cost to our clients. We have a complete package that allows our cameras to be operated exactly the same way a film camera in Hollywood works.

Time Lapse

SmartLapse photography allows a cinematographer to execute complicated 3-axis dolly/slider movements in a non-linear fashion, thus accomplishing a dynamic camera move. This can only be achieved by programming it through the use of professional photographic equipment such as our time-lapse motorized systems that capture 4K resolution (ultra high definition) images.
